<p>Another Tuesday! Yay! I have 2 more cards for you today.</p>
<p>But before we get to those, I&#8217;d just like to share a couple of photos with you. I know you&#8217;ve probably already seen a very similar one on Sherry&#8217;s, Jeanne&#8217;s and Kittie&#8217;s blogs, but I just had to have one on mine too! These are the best girls in the world! I had a blast with them, even if it did rain practically the whole time we were in Florida! They are the most gracious and welcoming people I know and I&#8217;m just so happy to call them my friends! I miss you guys so much!!!!<br />
<a href="http://bronih.blogs.splitcoaststampers.com/files/2008/06/rndt-girls.jpg" title="RNDT in Orlando"><img align="middle" width="360" src="http://bronih.blogs.splitcoaststampers.com/files/2008/06/rndt-girls.jpg" alt="RNDT in Orlando" height="240" /></a></p>
<p>And here is one of Pat and Dave, the Rubbernecker owners, who are also such wonderful people and so much fun! They&#8217;re relaxing after the first day of the show.</p>
<p><a href="http://bronih.blogs.splitcoaststampers.com/files/2008/06/pat-and-dave.jpg" title="Pat and Dave"><img align="middle" width="360" src="http://bronih.blogs.splitcoaststampers.com/files/2008/06/pat-and-dave.jpg" alt="Pat and Dave" height="240" /></a></p>
<p>Ok, sniff, sniff. I guess we should get on with the post. Ready?</p>

<p>Are you ready for the <a target="_blank" href="http://www.rubbernecker.com/"><strong><font color="#ea5014">Rubbernecker Treasure Hunt</font></strong></a>?</p>
<p><a href="http://www.millan.net/"><img border="0" src="http://www.millan.net/minimations/smileys/pirates.gif" /></a></p>
<p>All you have to do is head over to the <a target="_blank" href="http://www.rubbernecker.com/"><font color="#ea5014">Rubbernecker Home Page</font></a> and start with the first clue. You can also read about all the details there, in case you’re new to the Treasure Hunt. So head over there, matey, and find that free rubbah!</p>
<p>Today <a target="_blank" href="http://tamimayberry.blogspot.com/"><font color="#33cccc"><strong>Tami Mayberry</strong></font></a> has some <strong>BLOG CANDY</strong> for you! Check out her blog for a chance to win!</p>
<p>Today is also <font color="#ea5014"><strong>Rubbernecker Blogger Challenge</strong></font> day! The challenge is to use chipboard and I&#8217;ve combined it with the CPS sketch for this week - <a target="_blank" href="http://cardpositioningsystems.blogspot.com/2008/06/cps-71-sponsored-by-rubbernecker-stamp.html"><font color="#33cccc"><strong>CPS71</strong></font></a> - because Rubbernecker is sponsoring this week&#8217;s sketch! <p>I just love this <font color="#33cccc"><strong>Stamp Oasis</strong></font> image. These island women are absolutely wonderful to watercolor!</p>
<p>The challenge was to use chipboard so my glittery star is a piece of <font color="#ea5014">Tim Holtz mini Grunge</font>, painted with a Copic marker and then covered with <font color="#ea5014">Icicle Stickles</font>. I used my Janome sewing machine to make the wonky (ok, extra-wonky) stitching around the edges.</p>

<p>This is really a simple card.  I&#8217;ve been leaning towards those a little more lately.  It may have something to do with having limited time!</p>
<p>Please play along with us!  Use keyword <font color="#ff0000"><strong>JBE009</strong></font> when you upload to SCS so we can find your cards!  Be sure to check out the challenge cards made by the other design team members too.  Their links are in the left hand column.</p>

<p>I just couldn&#8217;t resist this stamp when I found it at Hobby Lobby for 50% off! And it&#8217;s perfect for the birthday card I needed for my friend, Bubbles, who just turned 50 years young!!</p>
<p>She&#8217;s a bright and cheerful person, so I wanted the card to be that <a href="http://bronih.blogs.splitcoaststampers.com/files/2008/06/know-too-much-crop.jpg" title="Know Too Much crop"></a>way too!</p>

<p>I chose paper from the <strong>Pocket Full of Posies Matstack by DCWV</strong> and then picked papers and inks to coordinate.</p>
<p><a href="http://bronih.blogs.splitcoaststampers.com/files/2008/06/know-too-much-scs.jpg" title="Know Too Much"></a></p>
<p>I used <font color="#008000">Almost Amethyst</font> as the card base and cut the patterned piece into 4 pieces, spacing them evenly on the front of the base.</p>
<p>The image is stamped in <font color="#ff6600">Versafine Onyx Black ink</font> on watercolor paper and painted with <font color="#008000">Stampin&#8217; Up! markers</font> and a <font color="#ff6600">waterbrush</font>.</p>
<p>I added <font color="#ff6600">Stardust Stickles</font> to the photo corners and the orange flower, but in this picture you can&#8217;t see the sparkle because I had to take the picture before they dried!</p>
<p>She loved her card&#8230;.and the <font color="#ff00ff">hot pink crocs and cell phone croc </font>that went along with it!</p>
<p>Thanks so much for stopping by! See you next time! Have a great day!<br />

<p>I love inchies! I&#8217;ve been playing along in the <strong><a target="_blank" href="http://ellenhutson.typepad.com/inchie_inklings/"><font color="#ff0000">Inchie Inkling </font></a></strong>monthly challenge, and this is my April entry for inchies focused on food.</p>
<p>The <strong><font color="#ff6600">Lockhart Fruit Bowl stamp </font></strong>was perfect for this challenge and it pairs so well with the <strong><font color="#9158bb">Stampin&#8217; Up!</font></strong> Summer Picnic DSP which I love!</p>
<p>I actually only stamped and colored the fruit bowl once, then punched out the portion with the grapes. Well I couldn&#8217;t just toss out the rest of the image, so I punched out another portion and made a second card using the same elements and layout. I just switched up the colors and the placement of the focal image &amp; sentiment.</p>
<p><a href="http://bronih.blogs.splitcoaststampers.com/files/2008/06/fruit-inchies-bhh.jpg" title="Fruit Inchies"><img border="0" align="middle" width="480" src="http://bronih.blogs.splitcoaststampers.com/files/2008/06/fruit-inchies-bhh.jpg" alt="Fruit Inchies" height="360" /></a></p>
<p>The inchies were stamped on white cardstock and colored with Copic markers, then glued onto <strong><font color="#ff6600">inchie chipboard squares</font></strong>. I glued tiny strips of the green striped paper around the edges of the chipboard. The frames were made by punching out a square with the 1-1/4&#8243; square punch, then centering that in the scalloped square punch. The blue DSP background for each frame was punched with the 1-3/8&#8243; square punch. The frames were attached using mounting foam tape to raise them up to the same level as the chipboard squares.</p>

<h2><font color="#33cccc"><strong>RUBBERNECKER - RBC15<br />

<p>Are you ready for the <a target="_blank" href="http://www.rubbernecker.com/"><font color="#33cccc"><strong>Rubbernecker Treasure Hunt</strong></font></a>?</p>
<p><a href="http://www.millan.net"><img border="0" src="http://www.millan.net/minimations/smileys/pirates.gif" /></a></p>
<p>All you have to do is head over to the <a target="_blank" href="http://www.rubbernecker.com/"><font color="#33cccc">Rubbernecker Home Page</font></a> and start with the first clue. You can also read about all the details there, in case you&#8217;re new to the Treasure Hunt. So head over there, matey, and find that free rubbah!</p>
<p>Today is also <font color="#33cccc"><strong>Rubbernecker Blogger Challenge</strong></font> day! Today&#8217;s challenge is a sketch. You can find it <a target="_blank" href="http://inkypaws.blogs.splitcoaststampers.com/2008/06/23/rbc15-thank-you/"><font color="#33cccc"><strong>HERE</strong></font></a> and all the details for all the blogger challenges on Jeanne&#8217;s blog on <a target="_blank" href="http://inkypaws.blogs.splitcoaststampers.com/rubbernecker-challenges/"><font color="#33cccc"><strong>this page.</strong></font></a></p>
<p>Here&#8217;s my card using the sketch and another beautiful image from Jeanne&#8217;s own stamp collection (<a target="_blank" href="http://www.rubbernecker.com/p-1588-jeanne-streiff-collection.aspx"><font color="#fa8072"><strong>Jeanne Streiff Collection</strong></font></a>):</p>
<p><a href="http://bronih.blogs.splitcoaststampers.com/files/2008/06/rosy-thoughts-rn.jpg" title="Rosy Thoughts"><img align="left" width="360" src="http://bronih.blogs.splitcoaststampers.com/files/2008/06/rosy-thoughts-rn.jpg" hspace="15" alt="Rosy Thoughts" height="480" /></a></p>
<p>The name of this stamp set is <font color="#fa8072"><strong>Flora &amp; Flairs</strong></font> and it&#8217;s gorgeous! The images are silhouettes but you can paint, ink or color the stamp and it&#8217;s no longer just a silhouette! So versatile!</p>
<p>I inked the flower with <font color="#fa8072">Ranger Distress</font> <font color="#fa8072">tattered rose ink</font> and dabbed the <font color="#fa8072">tea dye ink</font> pad on it. Then I inked the leaves with <font color="#fa8072">old paper ink</font> and dabbed the <font color="#fa8072">peeled paint ink</font> pad on them. Stamped the image on blush paper and voila! A watercolored image! I cut and embossed the oval with my Nestabilties and, leaving the die on the cardstock, sponged around the edges with tea dye ink.</p>
<p>The right edge of the guava layer was punched with a Martha Stewart Simple Scallop punch. I added aqua <font color="#fa8072">Stickles </font>to the larger holes at each scallop edge.</p>
<p>I sewed the patterned paper to the guava cardstock after sponging the edges of both pieces with <font color="#fa8072">brushed corduroy ink</font>. Then I tied the guava ribbon around the layers and added another knot of kraft ribbon and a decorative pin.</p>
<p>The sentiment was stamped with tea dye ink.</p>
<p>You can play along too! Simply upload your card or project using <a target="_blank" href="http://www.rubbernecker.com/"><font color="#33cccc">Rubbernecker</font></a> images and the sketch and link it to <a target="_blank" href="http://inkypaws.blogs.splitcoaststampers.com/2008/06/23/rbc15-thank-you/"><font color="#33cccc">Jeanne&#8217;s blog post for today</font></a>. If you post to SCS, please use the keyword code <font color="#33cccc"><strong>RBC15</strong></font>. You&#8217;ll have a chance to win the monthly drawing for a <strong>$25 Rubbernecker Bucks gift certificate</strong>!</p>

<h2><font color="#ff0000"><strong>JACKSONBELLE EMBELLISHMENTS - JBE008<br />
</strong></font></h2>
<p><font color="#ffffff">~~~</font></p>
<p><a href="http://bronih.blogs.splitcoaststampers.com/files/2008/06/hi-there-duet-crop.jpg" title="Hi There Duet crop"><img src="http://bronih.blogs.splitcoaststampers.com/files/2008/06/hi-there-duet-crop.jpg" alt="Hi There Duet crop" /></a></p>
<p>Today&#8217;s <a target="_blank" href="http://www.jacksonbelleembellishments.com/servlet/StoreFront"><font color="#ff0000"><strong>Jacksonbelle Embellishments</strong></font></a> challenge card is a bright one. Don&#8217;t even ask me how much I LOVE this <font color="#33cccc">Inkadinkado Duet stamp</font> or the fantastic <font color="#33cccc">Cosmo Cricket Hello Sunshine paper</font>! No, I said don&#8217;t ask. I&#8217;m speechless with how much I am in love with both of these, and together&#8230;oh my! It&#8217;s just a good thing the drool didn&#8217;t get all over this card!</p>
<p>The challenge for today was &#8220;Anything goes!&#8221;. Whoop, whoop! I love that kind of challenge! I was just dying to use some of this paper. Every design in this collection is bright and warm and happy! Would you look at how it&#8217;s already got a decorative bottom edge! There&#8217;s almost no need for any embellishments, because it could pretty much stand on it&#8217;s own as far as an eye-pleasing element is concerned. (You can click on the photo to see a larger version.)</p>
<p><a href="http://bronih.blogs.splitcoaststampers.com/files/2008/06/hi-there-duet-blog.jpg" title="Hi There Duet 2"><img align="middle" width="480" src="http://bronih.blogs.splitcoaststampers.com/files/2008/06/hi-there-duet-blog.jpg" alt="Hi There Duet 2" height="360" /></a></p>
<p>The bird duo is just adorable! I&#8217;ve named them Sam and Junior! I do believe that Sam is telling Junior a thing or two about what the big, bad world is like! And Junior is in awe of how much Sam knows! (Snort! I must be in my little fantasy world again!)</p>
<p>There&#8217;s no need for any instructions on this card. It&#8217;s very straightforward. Coloring with Copic markers, cutting and embossing with Nestabilties, piercing, and tying knots. Nothing to it! But I love it!</p>
<p>If you&#8217;d like to play along, upload a card using something from <a target="_blank" href="http://www.jacksonbelleembellishments.com/servlet/StoreFront"><font color="#33cccc">Lindsey&#8217;s shop</font></a>, and use the keyword <font color="#ff0000"><strong>JBE008</strong></font>. Then link your card to <a target="_blank" href="http://jacksonbelleembellishments.wordpress.com/"><font color="#ff0000">Lindsey&#8217;s new store blog</font></a>.</p>

<p>Well, another month has passed since the last design challenge for the present and past Dirty Dozen girls. Hard to believe!</p>
<p>This month <a target="_blank" href="http://papercookies.blogs.splitcoaststampers.com/"><font color="#ff0000"><strong>Diane Zechman</strong></font></a> was our challenge hostess with the mostess and she issued a real doozie of a challenge:</p>
<p><strong>It&#8217;s called <font color="#ff0000">&#8220;Inside &amp; Out&#8221;</font>&#8230;.meaning we had to</strong> <font color="#3366ff"><strong>stamp and decorate both the inside of our card and the outside of the envelope</strong></font>.</p>
<p><strong>Our required element was to </strong><strong><font color="#3366ff">make it &#8220;patriotic&#8221;</font></strong> <strong>(interpreted any way we like)</strong></p>
<p><strong>Our restricted element -</strong> <strong><font color="#3366ff">NO RIBBON</font> </strong></p>
<p>I can still hear the echoes of all the dirty girls saying &#8220;OH NO - NO RIBBON????!!!&#8221;</p>
<p>Now she gave us all the criteria immediately after our last challenge so I&#8217;ve had this information for a month, but do you think I started on it early? Heck no! I just started last night. I did however know ahead of time which stamps I would use.</p>
<p>I chose this really cool stamp called <strong>Sam&#8217;s Hat,</strong> and <strong>Celebrate America</strong> for the card and the <strong>Grand &amp; Petite Flag Stars</strong> for the inside of the card and the envelope. They&#8217;re all from the Patriotic section at <a target="_blank" href="http://www.rubbernecker.com/"><font color="#0000ff"><strong>Rubbernecker</strong></font></a>. I also used the Stars wheel from Stampin&#8217; Up! rolled in silver ink onto the red strip and the envelope (kind of hard to see).</p>
<p><a href="http://bronih.blogs.splitcoaststampers.com/files/2008/06/celebrate-america-rn.jpg" title="Celebrate America"><img align="middle" width="360" src="http://bronih.blogs.splitcoaststampers.com/files/2008/06/celebrate-america-rn.jpg" alt="Celebrate America" height="480" /></a></p>
<p>And here&#8217;s the inside and the envelope:</p>
<p><a href="http://bronih.blogs.splitcoaststampers.com/files/2008/06/celebrate-america-2-rn.jpg" title="Celebrate America 2"><img align="middle" width="360" src="http://bronih.blogs.splitcoaststampers.com/files/2008/06/celebrate-america-2-rn.jpg" alt="Celebrate America 2" height="280" /></a></p>
<p>So what do you think? Patriotic enough? We also have the option to send our card to the troops and Beate has graciously agreed to accept them and send them to her husband to distribute.</p>

The black squares are punched with a 1-1/4&#8243; square punch. The soft sky textured layer and the sentiment layer were attached with mounting tape.</p>

<p>I&#8217;ve used all black and white with celery green being my only color. The castle is colored in with Copic markers in shades of gray, then the dragon and other highlights were colored with green markers. I also added lots of Stardust Stickles to the towers, the water and to the sentiment. I punched 3 holes in the image layer and added the rhinestone stickers inside the holes onto the black layer.</p>
<p>Do you believe??</p>

<p>This is my card for the <font color="#ea8cbb">Jacksonbelle Embellishments</font> challenge <font color="#ea8cbb"><strong>JBE007</strong></font>.</p>
<p><a href="http://jacksonbelle.blogs.splitcoaststampers.com/" target="_blank"><font color="#ea8cbb">Lindsey</font></a> got in this beautiful new <a href="http://www.jacksonbelleembellishments.com/servlet/the-921/NEW-Daisy-D%2C-12/Detail" target="_blank"><font color="#8cbbea">Chloe Marie paper from Daisy D</font></a> and sent us all some to play with. Just look at how beautifully textured it appears. I chose to make a simple card with it and just let the paper take center stage.</p>
<p><a href="http://bronih.blogs.splitcoaststampers.com/files/2008/06/chloe-wishes-scs.jpg" title="Chloe Wishes"><img src="http://bronih.blogs.splitcoaststampers.com/files/2008/06/chloe-wishes-scs.jpg" alt="Chloe Wishes" align="middle" height="480" width="360" /></a></p>
<p>Isn&#8217;t it just scrumptious?? I used a sentiment from the <font color="#ea8cbb">Inkadinkado Chelsea Sentiments collection</font> and a tiny butterfly form the <font color="#8cbbea">Basic Grey Grow A Garden stamp set</font>. A little wonky stitching in 2 of the corners, a scalloped circle raised on mounting tape for the sentiment and a Making Memories Cheeky Board Clip, and that&#8217;s it!</p>
<p>Please be sure to stop by the other Design Team members&#8217; blogs to check out their cards:</p>
