Once in a while I plan on linking posts from other blogs that I think would be of great interest to others. They will be posts that made me slap my forehead and say “Wow! Why didn’t I think of that??!” In other words, blog posts that show their author’s brilliance!

Ready for a card?

This has to be one of my favorite stamp categories - Beach Party!  I just love any kind of water (hence my SCS user name of Waterchild) but I especially love the beach!  All the stamps used on this card are from the Rubbernecker Beach Party category.

This card started with Anna’s sketch challenge SMDSC02.  I thought it was the perfect layout to use my “Summertime” poem as the focal point of the card.

All the images were stamped in  Palette Hybrid Burnt Umber ink and painted with Ranger Distress tea dye ink and my waterbrush.  Then I outlined all the images with my BG10 Copic marker.
