Angel Hope

Angel Hope crop

Do you ever just KNOW how an image has to be used?  I’m absolutely in love with this Little Angel from Just For Fun Rubber Stamps.  And I knew she needed to be water colored and used on a shabby chic card.

The image is actually a square one but I wanted a circle on my card, so a circle Nestabilities die took care of that for me.  The base of the card is vintage cream (Papertrey Ink) and all the edges are sponged with Ranger Distress antique linen ink.  I did a lot of glittering everywhere too!  You can see it better in the detail shots below.

The image was stamped in black StazOn and then watercolored using reinkers.  The sentiment was also stamped on watercolor paper with antique linen ink, then again using a glue pad.  The DecoArt Glamour Dust was then added.

Here are a couple of detail shots~

I used Laura’s sketch 41 from the 2 Sketches 4 You blog, but took a little liberty and added the circle.  I hope that’s ok.
