A Little Bluebird House - Angel’s Landing challenge
This week the Angel’s Landing design team was asked to create anything but a card.
I thought it would be fun to try to create a home for the sweet little birds from the Mini Bears & Birds digi set. I had downloaded a birdhouse template from Nicole Heady’s website several months ago and decided to give it a try. I printed it on kraft cardstock, then used a scallop punch to create the roof layers and two different sizes of scalloped die cuts to make the base. I printed the scallop border from Faux Stitched Borders onto copy paper and used it as a template to punch the bottom edge of the birdhouse. Then I joined the punched holes with a white gel pen to create a faux stitched border.

Broni, those two bluebirds fit perfectly with that birdhouse. The scalloped faux stitching is such a nice finishing detail, too. Adorable.
