Hard & Soft – Wacky Wednesday #18

It’s HOT outside! I don’t know about where you are, but the temperatures here have been in the 90’s for a couple of weeks, with no relief in sight! Thank goodness for pools, lakes, rivers, beaches, and beer!!

The hugely talented and effervescent Bev is hosting our Wacky Wednesday this week. She’s come up with quite a title for this one: Hard & Soft. Now get your mind out of the gutter…she’s referring to what you use on your card/project this week!! She’s asked us to use metal and ribbon. This is what I came up with:

I have to tell you that I am IN LOVE with the new In Color from Stampin’ Up – Soft Suede. It works with everything! And just look how perfectly the gorgeous May Arts ribbon matches both Soft Suede and the new Bermuda Bay (another new favorite for sure)!

My metal is the tiny seashell charm and of course the ribbon is pretty obvious. The umbrellas are from the Kittie Kit Scene #6 set. I liked the way the umbrellas looked so much, I decided to use this image as my summer blog banner.
