Splashes of Watercolor

I hope all you blogland people had a wonderful weekend!  I sure did!  I spent all day Saturday at the pool with my family who gathered from several cities to visit with my Mom.  Then Sunday I was able to go kayaking at a local river for the first time in a couple of years!  The water has been so low due to the drought, making it very hard to paddle.  But now the levels are normalizing, so I’m looking forward to lots of paddling in the weeks to come!

My card today features an adorable little girl from the Sugar n’ Spice collection from Whipper Snapper.  And I just love this patterned paper from Sassafras.  It’s perfect for this week’s color combo!

This card is already in the mail to a very special friend who’s birthday is today!  Happy birthday, Kittie!
