Not much stamping – Color Throwdown #41
As you saw in the title, there’s not much stamping at all in this card. I guess you would call it a “scrappy” card? More die cut shapes than stamping.
Here are this week’s colors:
Aren’t they pretty together? When I saw the colors that Danielle chose for this week’s Color Throwdown challenge, I started a search of my patterned paper to find a match. As I was looking, I came across this little pad of designer journal tags from Anna Griffin that I had gotten at Hobby Lobby not too long ago. It had the perfect colors in it, along with some chocolate chip. I love the botanical look of it.
I did stamp the background with my Grid background stamp from Rubbernecker and the sentiment is from the new Wildflowers set. All of the cut shapes are Sizzlits dies from Stampin’ Up!
We hope you’ll play along with us this week. You can get more details at the Color Throwdown blog and get a whole lot of inspiration from these talented ladies:
Thanks for joining me today! Stay tuned for more Wacky Wednesday coming up soon!
