Live With Passion – CTD33
It’s time for another Color Throwdown challenge! Even though these are some of my favorite colors, I don’t know that I would have ever put them together! Leave it to Cathy to come up with unusual and wonderful combos!!

I couldn’t find any patterned paper with these colors. Um, let me rephrase that….I couldn’t find any patterned paper (in my mountains of the stuff) with these colors that I felt like using, so I decided to go strictly with cardstock. I don’t remember the last time I did that!
This was a fun card to make and I got to use my new Bigz Beautiful Butterflies die. It works really well with the smaller Martha Stewart butterfly punch, don’t you think? The grungeboard swirl was colored with a Tempting Turquoise marker and the cute little velvet flower stickers started out white, but got a purple coat with a Copic marker. I’m not sure if you can see it, but the white layer was clear embossed with my Diamond Background stamp. With the clear embossing and the Shimmerz on the green butterfly, this card really shines IRL!

WOW I thought the flourish was made of felt and was going to ask HOW you did that! GORGEOUS all the way around . . . love the colors, the layout, but damn . . . just everything!
I love those butterflies! The pearls on them are perfect…and I can’t believe what a great match the Sizzix are to the MS punch! Great sparkle and dimension too! Very pretty card!

I love the bold look of these colors together! The swirled grungeboard is a fabulous accent, especially with those tiny flowers added on! Great butterflies and I love all the shimmer going on here! nice job!
