Masculine Birthday Celebration crop

YAY!!!  It’s time to start up the Color Throwdown challenges for the new year.   Are you ready?  LeAnne is starting us off with some great masculine colors.  At least that’s what came to my mind.  When I asked BF George if he thought this was a masculine birthday card, he said “Only if those are weeds and not flowers.”!!

CTD24

Before I show you the card, let me tell you how excited I am to have 2 new members on the Color Throwdown team!!  I was sad to hear that Kim had to leave us, but now we’re welcoming the mega-talented Barbara Anders and the super cute and super talented, Danielle Kennedy.  Please help us in welcoming them and be sure to check out their very first CTD creations!

Oh, your BF George is a hoot! Maybe if you stamped a John Deere tractor way, way off in the background he would like it!!! I think it is a wonderful card and I forgot I have that same DP–would have matched perfectly!!! I love how the “weeds” at the top have been cut out—perfect little extra touch!

I think this is an aweseome masculine card! It’s not too flowery to make a guy cringe-but you can just tell him it IS weeds, just incase, lol! I love that dp and the brads! Very nice!

This is gorgeous, Broni! I think a guy would be pleased to get a card like this. I think it would been in a “nature” category not really a “flower” card. Miss you on JBE!

Broni, I would never have thought of these as “guy” colors but you’re right!!! Thanks for removing the tunnel vision that I often have. Great card for *anyone* but it definitely qualifies as a guy card.
