Happy New Year to you all!
I hope you all have started the new year off right by relaxing and enjoying all your blessings! That’s what I’ve been doing today.
This year I’m determined to create enough birthday (and other) cards for a stash so that I’m not always rushing at the last minute to whip one together just in time to get it to the recipient. I already had someone in mind when I created this card.
It’s been much too long since I received this adorable stamp set Lil’ Pea-Nut from Our Craft Lounge. Christmas kept me so busy that this is the first time I’ve been able to ink it up. This guy is SO cute and I LOVE all the little items that he can hold in his trunk. But my absolute favorite thing about the set is this sentiment that just cracks me up every time I read it!
I started with this week’s sketch from CPS (CPS97). 
Lil’ Pea-Nut was stamped 3 times. I only colored the 2 images I was going to cut out – the entire body of one and only the head of the other. The body is taped to the first image on the circle. The head is raised on pieces of foam mounting tape. Here’s a close-up (click on it to see it larger):
