Rubbernecker Blogger Challenge 7

Girl Angel crop

Today’s Rubbernecker Blogger Challenge is a “heavenly” one!! Hehe! The oh-so-talented Tami Mayberry has presented us with a sketch to try. Yes, the queen of sketches!! How cool!!

RBC7 sketch

I really did have a hard time choosing an image for this sketch. I thought the Little Lovin’s Girl Angel was too big for the image panel, but then decided to trim the panel down and let her wings be out-of-the-box. I think it works! Do you agree?

I also didn’t want to use vibrant colors. I wanted her to look soft and “heavenly”, so I went with the soft sky, with just a little pale pink.

Check out what the other designers have come up with using this great sketch:

And it would be great for you to play along with us! Just post a direct link to your card with your comment on the Rubbernecker Blog post for today.

***AND I just realized that I’ve crossed the 50,000 mark in comments!  Thanks, you guys!!  I’ll have to gather some blog candy to give away to celebrate!!

That’s quite a layout and you did a beautiful job with it! The image you chose is perfect, especially with the out of the box wings. This is great, Broni!
