Color Throwdown #17
We have a spooky Color Throwdown color challenge for you today! Kisa asked us to use orange, black, and green (with purple being an optional color) to make a Halloween themed card.
I’ve made so many Halloween cards already this year, so I wanted to go with one that wasn’t too scary and was kind of funky….One I could send to a small child or an adult. This is what I came up with:
I pulled out some Halloween stamps from last year – the pumpkin is from a Memory Box clear stamp set and the sentiment is one of those $1.00 Studio G stamps from Michael’s. I used the Grid Paper backgrounder from Cornish Heritage Farms on the kiwi kiss cardstock.
Check out what the other designers have come up with:
And please play along with us! The keyword is CTD17 and you can post a direct link to your card with your comment on today’s Color Throwdown blog post.
I thought I’d throw this in here too, since it also fits the criteria for today’s challenge. It’s a Halloween bag that I made for my 2 year old grandson.
Thanks for coming by! Find time to play today!!!
