It’s official! Yesterday was the first day of fall. (Even though it was 80 degrees outside!) There’s definitely more of a nip in the night air and there most certainly are fewer precious daylight hours. I love this time of year (but I’m also sad that summer is officially over).
To celebrate the fall season, I’ve pulled out this cute Little Lovin’s Pilgrim Boy from Rubbernecker. Isn’t he darling? I believe he could be the John Smith to my little Indian girl’s Pocahontas from last week.
I don’t believe this card requires much in the way of an explanation. There’s a little bit of stitching as you can see, with a couple of brads and a ribbon added. Here are the Copic colors used:

Stamps: Pilgrim Boy – Little Lovin’s (SKU 396 SO), happy thanksgiving sentiment
Paper: white, chocolate chip, basic gray textured, retired SU DP
Ink: Versafine Onyx black
Accessories: ticket corner punch, rectangle Nestabilities, sewing machine, black brads, basic gray ribbon, foam mounting tape, Copic markers
Items available at Rubbernecker Stamp Co.

JACKSONBELLE EMBELLISHMENTS – JBE021
~~~
Have you been playing along in the Jacksonbelle Inkadinkado challenge? All you have to do is to create a card following one of the sketches that have been posted on the Jacksonbelle Embellishments blog and using one of the newer Inkadinkado stamps. You can enter as often as you like, just remember to email each of your cards to Lynda at [email protected]. You can find all the details here.
Here is this week’s sketch:
Ok, I know it’s small here. You can view it larger at the Jacksonbelle Embellishments blog. I love this sketch and I think it’s one I’ll use over and over.
I’m going with a Christmas theme on this one today.
Again, a simple card. I’ve only stamped the little Bird Ornament and the sentiment and there’s no coloring at all on this one. I did more cutting and piercing than anything else!
Please play along in the challenge. There are some fantastic prizes!!!
Go check out the Design Team’s creations here:
Also, please keep Lindsey and her family in your thoughts and prayers. Her son has been in the hospital with strep pneumonia since last week. He has shown improvement and they were to remove him from the respirator yesterday.
Thanks so much for coming back by today. There’ll be 2 more cards for you tomorrow – the Color Throwdown challenge card and one for the new Rubbernecker blog challenge. So be sure to come back!
