Splashes of Watercolor

It’s been 3 days since I posted anything, but it seems like forever to me.  I was completely away from any internet communication yesterday and I thought I was going to start having withdrawals by the time I got home last night!!

This week’s Ways to Use It challenge WT162 on Splitcoast was to use acrylics in some form.  Easy!!!  I love my Dew Drops!  If I don’t have just the right color, I can use my Copic markers to make the clear ones match any paper or ink I’m using!  This is just so convenient!!

The patterned paper that I used for this card was purchased long before I got the Papertrey colors Spring Moss and Aqua Mist, but they all coordinate so well.  I was really excited to find this out.  I don’t know why I would be surprised though, because these pale greens and aquas have always been my favorite colors.  So it stands to reason that I would gravitate toward any paper containing these colors.

I finally used one of the many SU rub-ons that I purchased.  This one seems to have been made just for Riley!

I’m afraid I’m going to have to cut this post short.  It’s been so beautiful here today and our city’s Spring Festival called “Come See Me Festival” is starting this afternoon with a Main Street Beach Bash.  Lots of South Carolina style beach music (not the Beach Boys!) and plenty of brew!
