Some Bunny Loves You – Color Challenge CC149

Published by at 8:48 pm under Card Designs,Challenges,Copic markers

It’s Sherry and Candy’s fault that I made an Easter card today. Did you see their carrots and bunny butts?? So cute!

This is just a simple card for today’s color challenge to use rose red, apricot appeal, and sage shadow. It’s 3 simple layers, 2 of which were sewn together. I cut the vanilla image layer to fit in the corner and sewed it to the card as well.

To make the scalloped edge I used my own modified version of Mary Jo Albright’s tutorial. She punches the scalloped circle then cuts in to the circle and around the edge. Now if she had never published her tutorial, I probably never would have figured out this simplified version, so I have to give her full credit for putting this idea into my head. I punched a 1 3/8” circle in a piece of rose red, and then centered it in the scalloped circle punch. When it was punched out, I cut in between 2 of the scallops and voila! Easy scalloped edging!

Thanks for visiting me today! Please come back soon!
